​In 2001 I had the privilege of coaching a 13 year old boy in baseball. While I was teaching him the fundamentals of the sport, I never envisioned the lessons he was teaching me about life.  Although he was not a naturally gifted athlete, his Passion, Dedication, and Commitment  resulted in his being a standout player on the team. Tragically, his life ended at the age of 16 in an automobile accident. This tournament is how I remember this young man by passing on the values he demonstrated. The proceeds from this event benefit individuals and organizations in our community who display like priniciples of Passion, Dedication and Commitment to their causes. To date we have raised $150,000. I invite you to join in my mission as we enter our 13th year.
