Since 2005 my wife and I have directed a golf tournament in memory of a young man I coached in baseball who had a tremendous impact on my life. Initially named the Brad Fleming Memorial (BFM) Golf Tournament for 10 years, the funds raised were awarded to a graduating high school athlete who displayed the same qualities towards their sport as did Brad. In 2015, the tournament name was changed to Passion, Dedication & Commitment (PDC). This year’s recipient is Dogs on Deployment, a national non-profit that supports our military by matching volunteers willing to board their pets during deployments and military service. We are honored to support our military service men and women as they display passion for preserving our freedom, dedication to protecting our country, and commitment to upholding the beliefs on which our country was founded. Being children of military veterans, Katie and I understand that with this service comes separation from home, family, and friends and for many, family includes pets. We invite you to share in our mission as we support our military and families in Hampton Roads.
